Spokane WA, Crime - 2021 CompStat Report Visualization
According to Alarms.org, Spokane ranks #2 in the Top 100 Most Dangerous Large Cities in America. Spokane PD releases a weekly CompStat report geographically displaying crime totals within police districts. I've taken the 2021 year's end report and created a series of dashboards to better understand which crimes are occurring within each district. Spokane PD is in the process of switching to the NIBRS which may better describe the extraordinarily high larceny rates. 2010 Census data was used to calculate crime per capita (CPC). This will be updated to the 2020 data once available.
